Personal Protective Guide
Job Task: Tree Trimming (Rope and Saddle)
Hazards: Contact with overhead electrical lines, falls, hand, finger and limb injuries due to cuts or falling items, eye injury from flying objects, and inhalation of airborne wood dust
Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments: Face shields are considered secondary protection and should always be worn with safety glasses or goggles under the shield. Maintain proper distances from electrical lines, or use insulation blankets in necessary. Use proper procedures to secure the area to protect other from the activity. If a chainsaw is used, follow applicable precautions. Inspect the ropes and claiming equipment.
