Personal Protective Guide

Job Task:  Tree Removal (Manual)

Hazards:  Hand, finger and limb injuries due to cuts or falling items, eye injury from flying objects, inhalation of airborne wood dust, trip and fall hazards, strains and sprains due to lifting

Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments:  Face shields are considered secondary protection and should always be worn with safety glasses or goggles under the shield. Follow proper lifting techniques.
