Job Task:  Hedge Trimmer (Electrical) Operation

Hazards:  Electrical shock or electrocution due to defective cords, cuts to feet and lower legs and hands, eye injuries from flying objects, and high noise exposure

Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments:  Operate equipment in strict accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.  Allow use only by trained and authorized individuals. Inspect the electrical cord for defects and ensure proper grounding.  Wear reflective vest if working near traffic.
