Job Task: Excavating
Hazards: Trench failure, objects falling into the trench, flammable gas or liquids leaching into the trench, toxic vapors entering trench, fall hazards, and exposure to vehicles
Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.
