Personal Protective Guide

Job Task:  Concrete Removal

Hazards:  Hand, foot and back injuries due to material handling, eye injuries from small particles, and vehicle exposure if working near traffic.

Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments:  Face shields are considered secondary protection and should always be worn with safety glasses or goggles under the shield.  Reflective vests should be worn when working in or near roadways.  Follow proper work area protection.  Follow proper lifting techniques.
