Additional Comments: Read and understand the Material Safety Data Sheet (MSDS) for the chemical being handled. Face shields are considered secondary protection and should always be worn with safety glasses or goggles under the shield. Ensure emergency eye wash/shower is readily accessible. Transfer chemicals in a well ventilated area and avoid breathing vapors. Use proper bonding and grounding procedures for flammable and combustible liquids. Wash hands thoroughly after handling chemicals and before smoking, eating or drinking. Use two people to move or lift heavy drums or use mechanical means if available. Push drums rather than pulling them on a dolly to prevent them from falling on worker in case of a fall.
