Personal Protective Guide
Job Task: Roller/Compactor Operation
Hazards: Motor vehicle traffic, crushing injuries from the roller, and falls from equipment
Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments: Follow proper work area protection practices. Reflective vests should be worn when working in or near roadways. Use the three points of contact techniques when mounting and dismounting from the cab. Do not jump from the cab to ground. Wear seat belt if equipment has rollover protection.
