Personal Protective Guide

Job Task:  Front End Loader Operation

Hazards:  Falls when entering and exiting equipment, vehicle exposures when working near traffic, and high noise levels

Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments:  Operate equipment in strict accordance with manufacturer’s instructions.  Allow use only by trained and authorized individuals.  Maintain proper distances from overhead line if not involved with electrical line repair/maintenance.  Use the three points of contact techniques when mounting and dismounting from the vehicle. Do not jump from the vehicle to ground.  Wear seat belt if equipment has rollover protection.
