Personal Protective Guide

Job Task:  Engine and Equipment Maintenance

Hazards:  Hand and finger injuries from contact with hot or sharp objects and pinch points, eye injuries from fluids and engine parts, and back injuries due to material handling

Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments:  Use hoist for lifting heavy parts.  Follow Material Safety Data sheets (MSDS) for chemicals used.  Use the proper tools.
