Personal Protective Guide

Job Task:  Concrete Construction

Hazards:  Hand, back, foot and eye injuries due to material handling, and potential exposure to vehicle traffic.

Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments:  Use material handling equipment and follow proper lifting techniques.  Reflective vests should be worn when working in or near roadways.  Follow proper work area protection.
