Always operate in an open well ventilated area or vent exhaust directly outdoors.  Never refuel while engine is running or in presence of open flame.  Never remove radiator cap from liquid cooled engines while they are hot.  Stop engine before performing any maintenance or trouble shooting and disable the ignition system.  Ensure all guards are in place prior to operation and after repairs.  Keep hands, hair and clothing away from moving parts. Ensure other workers maintain a safe distance from the mowing operation.  Always use a seat belt where roll over protection is provided. Use the three points of contact techniques when mounting and dismounting from the tractor.  Do not jump from the tractor to ground.  Reflective vests should be worn when working in or near roadways.  Wear seat belt if equipment has rollover protection.
