Personal Protective Guide
Job Task: Brake Repair
Hazards: Inhalation of asbestos dust, dust particles causing injuries to eyes, hands and fingers, and items falling on feet.
Although other exposures exist, they are not controlled by personal protective equipment; therefore, they are not indicated in this manual.

Additional Comments: If asbestos brake linings are being repaired or replaced, wet methods/enclosures should be used. A respirator rated for asbestos fibers is needed. Disposable suits may be needed.
